The Orwell, Vermont museum, housed in the historic Wright Memorial Building, is currently closed to visitors while members of the Orwell Historical Society and community volunteers conduct a professional and comprehensive audit of the collection’s historic artifacts, documents and photographs with the aim of expanding the relevancy and accessibility of our local history.

Although the museum is currently closed, visit the Orwell Free Library Vermont Room and experience the Orwell Historical Society’s current poster exhibit on the history of the Clark House, home to both the OFL and OHM.
